In the 50 years that have passed since the Golan was conquered, the region has in effect remained an “area-in -waiting” – in times of both war and peace. This policy paper does not present a national strategy for the Golan Heights, but rather aims to present a multidimensional picture that illuminates the issues, considerations and facts essential to formulating any national strategy.
