Improving the education system is crucial for Israel’s future. The disparities between different socio-economic groups is widening, creating inequality and polarization within Israeli society. This paper discusses the current model in the Israeli Ministry of Education and how it is hindering the development of students, especially those in low socio-economic classes; relevant research; and policies that should be implemented.
