Prof Eugene Kontorovich

Prof. Eugene Kantorovich teaches at the George Mason University School of Law, and specializes in the fields of international and constitutional law. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Chicago, where he also taught for two years. He interned with Judge Richard Posner on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He was awarded a fellowship in residence at the Institute for Advanced Study of the School of Social Sciences at Princeton University, New Jersey, and received the Federalist Society’s Bator Award. His research has been cited in Farm Many legal opinions in the USA, Kontrovich served as a visiting professor at the law faculties of Tel Aviv University and Bar Ilan and as a visiting professor on behalf of the Lady Davis Foundation at the Hebrew University. For years he taught a course in constitutional law within the joint legal program of Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University. His areas of interest in the lecture include the territorial issues in which Israel is involved; International criminal law, and legal reform
